The original 17-70mm is a fantastic kit (like) lens that is one of Sigma’s gems. This one is a little brighter on the long-end, and the hope was that the OS would improve the lens. HOWEVER! Looking at the gallery they make the lens look bad and they make the SD14 with which the pictures...
