  • As Senior Software Developer, responsible for developing a web-based interactive application front-end for a insurance policy maintenance system.   This application served as a data entry and reporting portal for legacy data sources and business logic.
  • Lead the effort to implement a new proposal on a new approach for filling gaps between requirements and legacy data inefficiencies. Presented proposal to business stakeholders and attained buy-in from the project principals.

  • Went on to support IT initiatives across all of KLA-Tencor's Asia office in Japan, Korea, Singapore and Taiwan. Managed local IS staff in the Asia office who reported to me on an operational level and together we ensured that IS projects in the field were compatible with corporate IT initiatives.
  • Went on to concentrate on consolidating and maintaining KLA-Tencor's internal Web infrastructure in a diverse environment with Windows NT and UNIX platforms. Worked with internal corporate customers to ensure that Web publishing needs were met ensuring security and uptime requirements.
  • Managed IT resources throughout the Asia region to ensure that corporate IT initiatives were completed on time and under budget.
  • Planned and implemented back-office hardware upgrades to bring Asia offices in-line with Corporate standards while meeting local requirements.
